VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT
Parkway is entirely run by volunteers!
The success of Parkway Little League depends on the many volunteers who donate their time to help keep Parkway a successful and effective community organization.
Our Parent Volunteer requirement for the 2025 baseball season will require each family to volunteer 12 hours. 3 of the 12 hours must be completed during tournaments.
Volunteer Deposit Fee – $250.00
$1.00 is a non-refundable volunteer deposit fee will be charged today during the checkout process.
The remaining $249 charge will be cancelled upon completion of your volunteer hours
Volunteer Information
The success of Parkway Little League depends on the many volunteers who donate their time to help keep Parkway a successful and effective community organization. The volunteer requirement is an attempt to improve flexibility for families as well as ensure we have adequate coverage.
- Concessions (Must be 16 years of age or older)
- The concession stand is a critical component of our organization and its success of providing revenue

Weed whipping
Miscellaneous tasks and projects
You will have an opportunity to sign up for volunteer hours at any time. An email will be sent out when an urgent need for volunteers arises.
Tournament sign-ups will be placed on the system when the brackets and game times are finalized for that tournament.
Volunteer opportunities may be posted throughout the season and will be available on a first come basis. Once you choose a task, it will be your responsibility to complete that task at the time required. During your shift, please check in at the concession stand. Not following these steps may result in your hours not being recorded.
The Parkway Board is open to considering additional activities to be counted as volunteer time to help in the operations of the Association. If you think you have a special skill or would like to contribute to the Association in a different way, please contact Candice Schintz with your idea. Not all ideas will work for the association, but we are more than willing to listen to ideas from our members to help better the program and experience for all players.
Committing to being a coach or team manager will fulfill your hours for the season.
